 WRTA WINTER COMPETITION 
   SEASON: TERM 2 & TERM 3 2018

We are currently seeking applications for entry into the 2018 WRTA Junior Winter Competition.

This competition will take place on Saturday’s and Sunday’s during school term 2 & term 3 2018.  The competition requires your commitment for only 2 hours each Saturday or Sunday.  There are 2 sessions, the first session commences at 8:00am and concludes at 10:10am, the second session commences at 10:20am and concludes at 12:30pm.  Games finish at the designated completion time, whether complete or not and scores are submitted at that time.

Once the club has received all applications, teams will be allocated by using the statistics provided by the WRTA from the previous season, along with input from the Head Coach. Teams are put together on ability, not age.  The Western Region Tennis Association will then grade each team into a specific section.

We are unable to guarantee if you will be in the early or late session, as this depends on the grading of your team by the WRTA.

All competitors must be current financial members of the Caroline Springs Tennis Club. Please follow the online membership procedure (attached) to apply for the membership if you are not a current financial member.

Please complete the form below and return it to junior_coordinator@carolinespringstc.com.au by Sunday 11 February 2017.  Please also follow the online membership procedure and select the payment of competition fee to make payment of your competition fee of $40.00.

DUE TO LIMITED POSITIONS AVAILABLE, POSITIONS WILL BE FILLED ON ORDER OF ENTRY.   NO LATE ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED DUE TO TIME CONSTRAINTS OF THE WRTA

In order to assist the smooth running of the competition all parents are asked to make themselves available to act as team managers or assistant team managers when required.

Participation Medal
The participation Medal for the 2016 – 2017 Summer Junior Competition will be presented at a BBQ get together at the clubrooms next Friday night 17th March commencing at 6 PM. Make sure you come along and collect your medal and have a lot of fun on the evening. All the kids who attended the last presentation night had a great time, with some still playing tennis until 9 PM. It is a great opportunity to meet others who are not in your team. Your new friends could well be your team mates in the next competition. We will be using courts 1 and 2 with the BBQ in front of the clubrooms.
